
Vince is the Principal Investigator of the lab. He is a medical doctor specialized in clinical genetics, molecular genetic diagnostics and clinical laboratory genetics. He received both his M.D. (2012) and Ph.D. (2017) degrees from Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary and underwent postdoctoral training at the City of Hope National Medical Center (CA, USA). From 2020, he works as an attending physician in clinical genetics at the National Institute of Oncology, Budapest, Hungary. In 2025 he was awarded the Lendület grant from the Hungarian Academy of Sciences to start the Lendület Momentum Hereditary Cancers Systems Biology Research Group.

Klaudia earned both her B.Sc. (2020) and M.Sc. (2022) degrees in biology from the Loránd Eötvös University, Budapest, Hungary and started her Ph.D. studies in 2022 in the lab. As a Ph.D. student, she has acquired many skills in molecular genetics and has been involved in various projects concerning variant characterizations and classifications in colorectal cancer predisposition genes and together with the Dpertment of Visceral Surgery managed a clinical trial in patients with colorectal cancer.

István earned both his B.Sc. (2022) and M.Sc. (2024) degrees in biology from the Loránd Eötvös University, Budapest, Hungary. He started his work in the lab as an undergraduate researcher working on a flow cytometry project. He started his Ph.D. studies in 2024 and in collaboration with the HUN-REN Biological Research Center is involved in projects utilizing mass cytometry to investigate immune phenotypes.

Marcell is a 6th-year medical student at the Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary. Following a 9-month undergraduate research project at Institut Pasteur in Paris, France, he started his M.D.-Ph.D. studies in the lab in 2024. His main research focus is investigating HLA genotypes as potential risk modifiers in hereditary cancer predisposition.

Benedek is a 6th-year medical student at the Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary. He started his work in the lab as an undergraduate researcher in 2024. Interested mainly in microbiology and infectology, his project is related to analyzing microbiome diversity in colorectal cancer patients.

Rajmund is a 3rd-year medical student at the Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary. He started his work in the lab as an undergarduate researcher in 2025. His current project investigates microsatellite alterations in various diseases.
